Orlandina Basket comunica di aver ingaggiato fino alla fine della stagione il giocatore Valery Likhodey, nato il 23 ottobre 1986 a Rostov (Russia), proveniente dalla formazione lituana del Nevezis.
Giocatore di grande esperienza internazionale, in carriera ha portato anche i colori del CSKA Mosca, Samara, Triumph Lyubertsy, Spartak San Pietroburgo, Lokomotiv Kuban, UNICS Kazan e Khimki.
In questa stagione le sue cifre parlano di 10.8 punti, 4.9 rimbalzi, 2.4 assist con il 44.4% da tre punti in 29.5 minuti di media nel campionato lituano (Betsafe-LKL), 14.2 punti, 5.3 rimbalzi, 1.8 assist di media con il 46% da tre punti in 27.4 minuti in FIBA Europe Cup.
Likhodey ha vinto la FIBA EuroCup Challenge nel 2007 (con Samara) e l’Eurocup nel 2013 (con il Lokomotiv Kuban) insieme all’ex orlandino Simas Jasaitis.
Inoltre, nella stagione 2013-14 (con il Lokomotiv Kuban) è stato il miglior tiratore da tre punti dell’Eurolega con il 54.7% davanti a Bryce Taylor (51%), Sergio Rodriguez e Vitaly Fridzon (50%).

Valery Likhodey joins Orlandina Basket!
Orlandina Basket announces the signing of the Russian forward Valery Likhodey (born in Rostov, October 23rd 1986). He played the first part of the season with the Lithuanian team of Nevezis.
Valery has a hug International experience, he also played with CSKA Moscow, Samara, Triumph Lyubertsy, Spartak Saint Petersburg, Lokomotiv Kuban, UNICS Kazan and Khimki.
